Temporarily distracted

In the back of my mind Ive been thinking that I should be working on the scarf that I'll be gifting early next month. Or the sweater a month KAL project - I still haven't completed anything for May.

Instead I've been distracted making these barn raising squares:

On Friday night I picked up a bag of Pagewood Farms 'sock bites' (think a bag jammed full of mills ends) and couldn't wait to try out the yarn and different colourways.

Although a little fiddly to start, once you get going they are great 'on the go' projects.

I'm completely hooked!

I have this pattern on my list... hopefully I'll start soon. All your colours are wonderful and bright!

Love this pattern. I wasn't up for making a blanket but my pillow seems to be loved. Your squares are gorgeous.

Beautiful!

Those bags are so much fun--all the color and variety.

Have fun with your squares; they are addicting :)

I've been wanting to start that blanket, too. Although, I already have so many projects going that I feel bad about starting something else. I am saving up my left over sock yarn, though. :-)

The nice thing about this project is that you can do it in fits and starts, that's for sure. So you do want to join and do squares for everyone and everyone gives you square? You're not required
