Buttons?

Buttony is pretty much complete... except for the buttons, that is!

I trapsed around a couple of the big craft chain stores today, with no success. I'm thinking a surf on Etsy, and the web in general, might prove more fruitful.

Unless anyone in the South Denver area can point me in the direction of somewhere local to find fabulous buttons?

Thanks,
Sam

Have you tried Denver Fabrics in Littleton? Also, I know it isn't south Denver but Allyn's Fabric on 6th Ave is stuffed to the brim with all sorts of trim and has lots of buttons.

Yes, I would suggest Denver Fabrics. I've never been to Allyn's Fabric, but I bet they might have some nice buttons.

Oh the dreaded buttons! I've taken longer to find the perfect button than to knit the garment in the past! I love the orange and pink combo you chose here. Think it'll really suit your skin tone too.

I love this version of this sweater. Orange and Pink are always good colors to me.

I don't know about Denver but I've used this place before...

Love it............wish I had someplace to send you for buttons. I think there was some pretty cool buttons in Knitty Cat the last time I was in there. I am sure etsy will solve your problem! :)

Great job! Can't wait to see it on you!

Buttony looks great! I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions for buttons, but hopefully the other comments will help. :)

Very nice! I love the colors you picked. Denver Fabric has a decent selection. The JoAnne hobby store in Park Meadows has always been a good one for me too, though you shouldn't have to go to that exact store to find the same things.
Another idea is a bead store, but that takes a little more craftyness and possibly a hot glue gun.

I really like Fancy Tiger on Broadway and 1st (next to Spudniks). What gauge did you use? I'm considering using Kathmandu at 5 sts/1"...
