Wee Tiny Noro Sock

My friends Kelly and Stacey sent this swap my way -- the Wee Tiny Sock swap.

There's certainly no shortage of leftover sock yarn in my house, and this looked like a fun way to use some of it, and meet new knitters.

Presenting the Wee Tiny Noro Sock:
I love this cute little pattern! I did make a couple of modifications to the toe -- I prefer a more rounded toe and so didn't knit a row between the decreases. ('Cos it's important that the wee tiny sock has a rounded toe instead of a pointier one, right!? I don't know why that mattered to me -- it's not like anyone's going to be wearing it).

Actually the sock went through a couple of evolutions before I made one that I feel happy sending to my swap pal. Now I need to come up with creative ways to use the 'test' versions. Something like this maybe?

The wee tiny sock will go out in the mail tomorrow. If only I had a mini sock blocker to go with it ;o)

so cute! I'm afraid if I knit one that I will make a couple dozen without thinking about it. Witness owls, the birds you guys haven't seen on the blog. The 9 socks I've knit in the last 3 months...well a wee sock would just be a continuation of knitting big ones right?? What could it hurt?

Your Wee Tiny Socks turned out so cute! I love that you did stripes.

I had to change my plans for mine because my pal is very into green, so I had to scrounge up some green yarn for her sock.

I love it that you knit three of them. That's just crazy. It's supposed to be A wee tiny sock swap, not multiples because you want the toe to be round, not pointy!!! Heehee.

Dang those are cute. I love the idea of decorating with them. Maybe I'll have to make a few for Christmas ornaments. :D

Sam - your modifications made it perfect! Can I ask if you did anything else different besides not do rows between the toe decreases? It really looks great!
