Instead I've been distracted making these barn raising squares:

On Friday night I picked up a bag of Pagewood Farms 'sock bites' (think a bag jammed full of mills ends) and couldn't wait to try out the yarn and different colourways.

Although a little fiddly to start, once you get going they are great 'on the go' projects.

I have this pattern on my list... hopefully I'll start soon. All your colours are wonderful and bright!
ReplyDeleteLove this pattern. I wasn't up for making a blanket but my pillow seems to be loved. Your squares are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose bags are so much fun--all the color and variety.
Have fun with your squares; they are addicting :)
I've been wanting to start that blanket, too. Although, I already have so many projects going that I feel bad about starting something else. I am saving up my left over sock yarn, though. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe nice thing about this project is that you can do it in fits and starts, that's for sure. So you do want to join and do squares for everyone and everyone gives you square? You're not required
ReplyDeleteI want to knit this too! Love those colors!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always so beautiful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful squares!! I'd be happy to exchange squares with you, if you're interested :)
